The XUV700 was originally meant to be the second-generation XUV500, but Mahindra changed the model name as part of their strategy to increase the number of SUVs in their range. Mahindra & Mahindra, an Indian carmaker, develops the Mahindra XUV700, a small crossover SUV. The automobile will go on sale in August 2021, replacing the XUV500. The diesel engine choice is a 2.2-liter four-cylinder mHawk turbodiesel. The engine’s entry-level variant produces 155 PS and 360 Nm, but in more expensive models, the unit may produce 185 PS and 420 Nm or 450 Nm automatically. While both engines can be equipped with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, the lower-spec diesel vehicle will only have a manual gearbox. There is also an all-wheel-drive model available.
